Jammu and Kashmir: is the northernmost state of India. Jammu and Kashmir consists of three regions: Jammu, the Kashmir valley and Ladakh. Srinagar is the summer capital, and Jammu, its winter capital. While the Kashmir valley, often known as Paradise on Earth, is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape, Jammu's numerous shrines attracts tens of thousands of Hindu and Muslim pilgrims every year. ladakh, also known as "Little Tibet", is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and Buddhist culture.

Srinagar: is the largest city of Kashmir which is also the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and due to its qualities its also a center of attraction for tourists. Srinagar is surrounded on both the sides of Jhelum river. Mountains covered with snow, beautiful trees of Chinar, beautiful valleys ,world famous lakes like Nagina and Dull represents the view of this city. Due to its nice climate Srinagar attracts tourist throughout the year.

Gulmarg: In spring Gulmarg lives upto its name which means Meadow of flowers, its a large upland meadow 52kms southwest of Srinagar. Come winter,Gulmarg is Indias major ski resort. In winter there's skiing and sledging(man pulled). Three poma lifts,one chairlift and the Gondola cable car provide access to three major ski runs.

Pahalgam: Pahalgam is a Holiday resort famous for rishing(best april-september),nearby picnic spots and saffron fields.

Sonmarg: Sonmarg is one of the smallest resorts in Kashmir, lying in the heart of a gorgeous valley carved by the river Sindh.. Also known as "Golden meadow".Glaciers pour down from this stream from the Himalayas on to the many camping sites in Sonmarg. A thick forest cover of sycamore, alpine flowers, silver birch, fir and pine, Sonamarg offers adventure in the form of treks, sledging, angling, alpine skiing and white water rafting.

Jammu: Nestling in the foothills of the Himalayas, with the river Tawi flowing alongside, due to many temples built here it is also known as city of temples. From the point of view of art,culture and history, jammu has special importance. This city is the main centre of attraction for trade.

Patnitop: Patnitop, a beautiful hill resort of the Kashmir valley, is situated at a distance of 112 km from Jammu.Some of the main attractions of Patnitop, Kashmir are delightful picnic spots, serene walks and magnificent views of the mountains forming the backdrop of the Chenab basin.

Vaishno-Devi: The Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine is linked to the Base Camp Katra with a 13 Kms track.. The 13 Kms hilly track between Katra and Bhawan contains number of ancient temples and view-points for rest and enjoy natural beauty. The entire uphill Journey from Katra to Bhawan is on foot, however, one can hire ponies, palkies or pithoo for ease of journey.

Amarnath Yatra:Amarnath is 145 km east of Srinagar in Kashmir. There is an ice Silva-linga here that changes size with the seasons, and also as the moon waxes and wanes it becomes bigger and smaller. On the full moon day the linga is about 6 ft high. Each year on the full moon day of July-August (Sravana) when the Siva-linga attains its maximum height there is a festival at this cave temple. It is said that Lord Siva first appeared on this day.
